There are over thirty varieties of grapes in North America alone and several of these have been combined by traditional breeding to make more sustainable varieties. It's important to choose a location with full sun, well-drained soil and good air circulation. Grapes also require regular pruning, watering, fertilizing and pest management to thrive.
