Author Harry Yeide takes a look at what led the Axis leaders to go to war against the United States, despite America's industrial strength, and at what point they realized they were going to lose.
Yeide is a retired foreign affairs analyst with the federal government in Washington, DC and the author of eight books on World War II military history. His current book is Betting Against America: The Axis Powers’ Views of the United States. His research for the book included studying German, Japanese and Italian sources to better understand the events and decisions.
