Tan describes how observing birds became a metaphor for life and reflection as she explores themes of family, memory and the passage of time, ultimately finding deeper meaning in the fleeting moments spent observing birds in her backyard.

The book club is in partnership with Loudoun County Public Library, Watermark Woods, Loudoun Wildlife, Foliage Plants and Birch Tree Bookstore.

For those that attend in-person, you can enter to win a raffle provided by Watermark Woods. The bag will include the next book club book and Watermark Woods swag.
