NOVA Parks historian Paul McCray presents the story of the transition from the railroad to the current W&OD trail and regional park.

This year is the 50th anniversary of the first mile of the W&OD Trail, built as a test in Falls Church. McCray, a recipient of the 2011 Thomas Balch Library's Loudoun History Award, shares highlights and pictures of the trail's five decades.

This program is part of LCPL's Spoke 'n Word Bike Trail Event.
