English Practice Facilitator Training

Interested in helping members of your community learn English? Get the tools to lead fun and engaging sessions for adult English learners. Open to current, new, and prospective volunteers.

English Practice Facilitators help LCPL run our English Practices at a majority of branches across the county. Learn what to expect, how to encourage conversation, and how to balance participation in a group setting.

Interested in volunteering as an English as a Second Language (ESOL) tutor or facilitator? Contact your closest branch for more information on how to sign up. ESOL volunteers must be 18 years or older. Teaching experience or the ability to speak a language other than English are not required.
