The vivid, abstract paintings reflect the artist's connection to nature and appreciation for the earth, an expression of her gratitude for life stemming from her recovery journey after breast cancer.

Sussan Saraie earned her BFA in Industrial Art Design from Western Illinois University and has explored a wide range of mediums including, oil, acrylic, charcoal, and graphite.
