Artist Mita Mathur showcases Sindhi embroidery, an Indian needlecraft tradition of decorating cloth using appliqué work, hand stitches, glass pieces, metals, pearls, and beads.
Mita Mathur is an artist based in Loudoun County. She enjoys doing embroidery and other handicrafts, as well as drawing and painting Mathur has exhibited her work at local, regional, and national levels. Her most recent show took place during the World Cultural Festival on the National Mall.
