Garrett P. Jones is a retired Army officer who spent most of his 27-year career working on political-military affairs and national security issues in Europe, Africa and South Asia. His time included assignments at the State Department, U.S. Embassies, and strategic-level U.S. military headquarters in Europe. In addition to working with the armed forces of allied and partner countries, Jones also has experience with arms control and peacekeeping.
