Smithsonian curator Carolyn Russo introduces her book, The Ascent of Rauschenberg, which explores the theme of flight in the work of American artist Robert Rauschenberg.

Curator of the art collection at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum, Carolyn Russo has written several books, including Art of the Airport Tower, In Plane View: Abstractions of Flight, Women and Flight: Portraits of Contemporary Women Pilots, and The Ascent of Rauschenberg: Reinventing the Art of Flight, which you can find in the library's catalog.
