Artist Pat Whittle exhibits Bigger Things inspired by a Hans Hofmann quote: "There are bigger things to be seen in nature than the object." Catch the exhibit from March 2 through April 30.
“As an artist my goal in not to render exactly but to render truth. A sense of celebration with a measure of sadness - something more. My hope is that through these delicate imaginative florals and landscapes, you get a glimpse of the struggles of life as well as the joys and finally the yearning for something better. Pat Whittle is a Loudoun County, Virginia based painter of vividly colored imaginative florals in acrylic and landscapes in oil. This exhibit will contain several of each. Frequently juried into local, regional and national shows, her works are in collections both in the United States and abroad.
