Four 3D-printed sculptures from Google's Scan the World project will be displayed from April 16-30.
Sculpture: In Depth represents a unique art history exhibition that exposes you to four historically significant sculptures from around the world. Using high resolution surface scans from Google's Scan the World project, 3D models of each sculpture were printed in the Brambleton Library Makerspace and displayed in the Micro Art Gallery. This exhibition gives you an opportunity to appreciate the intricate forms of each sculpture, rather than see them as flat images in a book or on a screen.
Loudoun County teens, ages 12 to 19, who would like to have their original artworks displayed in a professional quality solo exhibition within our tiny gallery should go to the following link for gallery guidelines and an entry form.
