Ronald Doucette is a Loudoun County attorney specializing in wills, trusts, and estate planning. He has been a member of the Virginia Bar since 2004 and is a member of the Bar’s Trusts and Estates Section. At his firm, Doucette Law Firm, PLC, he has also practiced in the areas of business entities, real estate and development, and conservation easements.
Prior to the practice of law, he served for nine years as a vice president of the Putnam Companies of Boston, a national mutual fund investment-management firm. In that role he represented Putnam to clients such as Merrill Lynch, Edward Jones, banking institutions and investment advisors. He is known for his many seminars on the use of mutual funds and annuities in retirement planning.
Doucette has served on boards of trustees for three international non-profit organizations and the Land Trust of Virginia. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Suffolk University Law School. He lives in Waterford, Virginia, with his wife Margot.
