Author Dana Dillon explores two Revolutionary War battles in his historical fiction novel told through the contrasting perspectives of an enslaved person and a tavern owner turned reluctant patriot.
Dana Dillon served twenty years as an infantry and foreign area officer in the Army. He led an infantry platoon, commanded a company, and served on battalion, brigade, and division staffs. After eight years, Dillon transferred to the Foreign Area Officer program, where he studied international relations and worked with foreign militaries.
Sowing Dragon Teeth: A Novel of the Battle of Lexington and Concord is the first book in the historical fiction series.
