Historian Chuck Mauro shares stories about the lives, families, and aspirations of four individuals during these tumultuous years in American history.

Chuck Mauro has published extensively on the Civil War in Northern Virginia and received a lifetime achievement award “For his prolific body of work documenting the history of Fairfax County.” He co-produced and directed the documentary Mosby’s Combat Operations in Fairfax County, VA., and co-produced the docudrama The Battle of Chantilly (Ox Hill).
