Baxter's work is a visual meditation on the emotional landscapes of womanhood and the quiet power of nature.
Through oil painting, sculpture, chalk pastel, acrylic, and colored pencil, Baxter explores the tension between vulnerability and strength, intimacy and the grandeur of nature. Jewel tones often anchor her palette, reflecting the richness of inner life and the beauty found in organic forms. Each piece she creates is an invitation to pause, feel, and reflect, a moment suspended between the natural world and the human spirit.
Baxter holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Notre Dame, where she cultivated a deep reverence for classical technique. Her studies of High Renaissance art in Rome and Florence continue to shape her approach to figurative work, infusing it with anatomical precision and compositional harmony. Yet, her subjects are contemporary and personal, bridging artistic tradition with the lived experience of modern femininity.
