Create lovely flower outlines for senior adults to add color and bring the drawings to life, making an intergenerational art display at the branch.
This intergenerational art project celebrates the beauty of spring while creating a connection and shared experience between two different parts of our community.
For the first part of the program, children will observe and draw flowers on a canvas. Then, the canvas will travel with Outreach staff to senior communities, where older adults will add color and their own artistic touches to the drawings. The finished canvas becomes a shared work of art created by both children and seniors, highlighting connection, collaboration, and the joy of making something together. The joint artwork will then be displayed at the children's home branch.
