Bring your favorite book character or quote to life in chalk! Join chalk artist and author Emma Jasper for a community chalk-a-thon at the library. Rain date: Saturday, May 2, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

The artist kicks things off with a chalk art tutorial before everyone - kids, teens, and adults alike - gets a chance to chalk the library sidewalks with beloved book characters, favorite quotes, and a little literary magic. No experience needed, just a love of stories and a willingness to make something beautiful together. Share your creations and tag @thedilemmasofemma! A Purcellville Teen Leadership Council Program.
