Small Works About Nature celebrates the beauty of the natural world and its vital role in our lives.

Maria Brito is a Latin American artist, nature lover, and environmental advocate. Her deep connection to nature is at the heart of her work. She works in a variety of media, including painting, mixed media, and upcycled art. 

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and has furthered her art studies in Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, and the United States. Her work has been exhibited throughout the DMV area in galleries, art centers, libraries, nature centers, and other venues.
