Storytime at the Animal Shelter

Join library staff for stories, songs, and action rhymes. See animals available for adoption! Important: Please click the "Sign up for updates" button to indicate your interest in attending.

To indicate your interest in attending the storytime, please:

2. Complete the form, being sure to click the "Add more people" button to add your children and other guests to the count.

NOTE: Once this storytime reaches capacity, we invite you to join LCPL and Animal Services staff for Frozen Fun Friday instead:

Stop by the shelter between 4 and 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, to make a fun, frozen treat for a shelter animal and a craft to take home. Then walk through the adoption kennels to see the available animals and try your luck at the Shelter Scavenger Hunt! After completing the scavenger hunt, treat yourself to a popsicle or ice cream (while supplies last) or check out a book from the new book vending machine!
