Understand the basics of safe home canning and learn how to use a pressure canner correctly.
This is a hands-on workshop in which you will make pressure-canned peaches, either whole or pureed, that you can take home. For the first hour, anyone is able to attend. However, for the second hour, space is limited to 12 people, so please sign up by emailing Emily Jacobs at Emily.Jacobs@loudoun.gov or calling 571-627-6934
Virginia Cooperative Extension Loudoun will be at the Sterling Library on the third Tuesday of each month until December, with different food preservation classes and workshops.
