Discover how to identify signs of orphaned or displaced babies, identify species-specific nesting behaviors, and learn techniques for safe reuniting and renesting.
Not every baby animal needs to be rescued—sometimes, they just need a little help getting back to mom. In this class, you will learn how to confidently assess situations involving young wildlife and determine when intervention is truly necessary. You’ll also learn how to educate others, prevent “accidental kidnappings,” and understand what to do if reunion isn’t possible. This session is ideal for Good Samaritans, new wildlife volunteers, and anyone who wants to help keep wild families together.
